Numerous historical testimonies fully document its presence in the territory, its network of commercial, social and political connections at the highest level and its profound interest in wine production.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1964 \u2013 Douglas Attems founds the Wine Consortium of Collio<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Count Douglas Attems was following a remarkably ancient tradition when, in 1964, he founded the Consorzio dei Vini del Collio, which he guided as President until 1999.
